Attorney

Michael is a software engineer and has developed custom software for data-driven research projects in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright registrations. He provides services to search, evaluate, and compare technical aspects of an application or current registration. This includes the initial search, drawings, application content, and infringement analysis.

These data-driven projects also include a Python-based real estate tax assessment analytics platform to generate a list of all comparable properties for homeowners throughout Cook County and Illinois.

Big data analytics and data science is used to fully understand how a company generates revenue, what competitors are doing, and how best to translate user/business requirements into software applications.

Other services include an online legal store for clients to download PDF documents that are customized for particular estate plans, real estate transactions, and contracts.

Legal services are flat-fee for Illinois residents and businesses.

Licensure verification is available from the Illinois Supreme Court.

Managing Real Estate Broker

Maximize a home's online presence to market every square inch of your property through photographs, videos, social media, websites with personalized domain names, neighborhood data, DVD presentations, and Internet marketing techniques to attract more prospective buyers to your listing than standard classifieds.

Michael also works with every local agent who may have private listings or clients looking for similar properties.

Buyers benefit from direct access to information they need to make informed decisions about a property.

Flat fee options and full brokerage services are available.

Licensure verification is available from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Software Engineer

Michael focuses on analytics with Python-based customized software to process, manipulate, clean, and crunch data. Advanced projects take advantage of machine learning and the scientific capabilities of the Python programming language to build predictive models.

Business intelligence is also performed with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB).

He is also a certified Linux and Mac OS X system administrator and has experience with a variety of languages (i.e. Java, iOS, and Android).

Michael first registered as a mobile app developer within a few months of Apple launching the iTunes App Store. Android, Mac OS X, and Windows apps soon followed. Users who have downlaoded these applications represent over 50 individual countries spread across six continents. A representative portfolio of his apps is available online.

Intellectual property research is ideal to achieve the highest degree of professionalism and ethics through software engineering by understanding the most intricate, underutilized, and overlooked details about a business model and competitive marketplace.
